Model Luana Jasmine says she is the latest victim of ‘hot phobia’

Just when you thought you’d heard the last of “Hot Phobia,” the trend comes back like it never left. Models and content creators are being shamed so hot left and right.

Unfortunately, it looks like it’s here to stay. If this continues you will see low cut off shorts at the grocery store and short crop tops running to pick up the kids at school. Do you really want to live in such a society?

The latest to fall victim to this trend is Louanna Jasmin. The 30-year-old model from London has already ditched her short skirts, low-cut tops and knee-high boots. She was getting dirty looks from women and fewer invitations from friends.

“I had never heard of the term hot-phobia but I knew it was happening to me,” admits Jasmine. “For years I was embarrassed to look a certain way, whether at work or on the street. I loved wearing short skirts, low-cut tops and knee-high boots.”

See how she said she likes to wear those things. Now those things have to be kept in the closet when they go out, just to avoid the extra drama that comes with them.

“But now my friends reject me and don’t ask me out because they say I get all the attention from the blokes,” she explained. “I’ve stopped dressing sexy when I’m out because it’s not worth the drama.”

It’s one thing for a woman to look dirty and deal with problems with her friends, but what really made her change in the way she dresses is what men are paying attention to.

Louanna Jasmin is a perfect example of hot phobia gone too far

Her single friends hated that she got all the attention when they went out, especially since she already had a boyfriend. As you would expect all the catcalls and being asked on the street was exhausting.

So Luana Jasmine decided to change the way she dresses in public, which is a shame. “It’s easier to hide stress than to face it,” she said.

Before the cover up, people had the misconception that she just wanted to show off and be sexy. That couldn’t be further from the truth.

“If I wear a short skirt, people think I’m trying to draw attention to myself and my tats, but I’m not,” Jasmine explained. “I’m probably wearing it because it’s so hot outside.”

She doesn’t just have to deal with hot phobia when she goes out. She experienced this when she used to work in an office job and even worked out in a gym. Jasmine is regularly pulled aside by her boss and wearing nothing but baggy clothes to the gym is out of the question.

“A man once told me that I was inviting all the looks because of the way I dressed. So now I try to present myself differently and people leave me alone because of that.”

Jasmine doesn’t even try when she goes out. She is a young model who dresses like a middle-aged mother who is ragged by her children.

“I try to look as bad as possible. I’ve stopped getting my eyelashes done, I’ve stopped wearing makeup, because it’s easier,” Jasmine said. “It’s a shame that I can’t just be myself, but people are so mean.”

It’s a real shame. Who wants to live in a world where hot people aren’t free to be hot? i am not
