Beyonce’s surprise birthday guest was a top choice.
The 42-year-old “Virgo Groove” singer celebrated another year around the sun during the third stop of her Renaissance World Tour at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on Monday.
After giving it all on stage, Diana Ross appeared to perform her hit “Love Hangover” for Beyoncé.

Ross also joined the celebrity-filled audience to sing “Happy Birthday” to the 42-year-old. “I’m here to celebrate Beyoncé’s birthday,” she announced tearfully as Beyoncé wrapped her arms around the singer.
“Thank you so much. You’re so amazing. That’s the great Diana Ross,” Beyoncé later told Ross.
In 2006, Beyoncé played the role of fictional singer Dinah Jones in the film “Dreamgirls”. His role was based on Ross during his tenure with The Supremes.

In addition to expressing gratitude to Ross, Beyonce shouted Thank you to the extended members of Destiny’s Child, her parents Matthew Knowles and Tina Knowles, her husband Jay-Z, and others for supporting her creative journey.
“My soul is full. I’m so grateful, I’m trying not to cry,” Beyoncé told the crowd before performing “Flaws and All”. “I’m grateful to be alive. I’m grateful to be on the stage. I’m grateful to look out and see your faces. I’m grateful to be able to provide a safe space for all of you. I I Grateful for music, for the ability to heal yourself through music which then heals you all.”

The “Renaissance” singer continued to thank her family. “I’m grateful for every tear, for every year. I’m grateful for my children. I’m grateful for my husband. I’m grateful for everything we’ve been through. I’m grateful for my beautiful father who are here tonight; I thank you for their sacrifice, their pain. I am grateful for my mother, my beautiful queen.”

“I’m grateful that we all have the ability to make lemonade out of our own lemons,” he said, referencing his 2016 album “Lemonade.”
Giving a shout-out to her Destiny’s Child bandmates, the highly awarded Grammy-winning artist said, “I’m grateful for Kelly Rowland, Michelle Williams, LeToya Luckett, LaTavia Robertson. I’m grateful for all of you guys who have been with me since 1997. “
“I’m grateful for every imperfection, for every stretch mark, for every FUPA. I thank you that I’m here at 42. I’m grateful for happiness and I thank God. I thank you, God,” Beyoncé concluded her speech.
